Special City Council Meeting to adopt the 2012 Annual Estimate to  be held on Thursday January 12, 2012 at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will take place at City Hall in the City Council Chambers Mount Vernon,  New York.

Be advised that copies of the Board of Estimate and Contract 2012 Annual Estimate adopted on January 9, 2012 is available in the office of the City Clerk between the hours of 8: 30 AM and 4: 30 PM.

The City Council will hold a public hearing on the 2012 budget which was adopted by the Board of Estimate and Contract.  The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers to call for a public hearing on the 2012  annual budget.

The Board of Estimate and Contract will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room for the purpose of adopting the annual estimate for 2012.

Please be advised that a special meeting of the City Council will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers for the purpose of scheduling a public hearing on the 2012 budget.

Attention Taxpayers:  Please be advised that the City of Mount Vernon has not passed the City Budget for 2012 as of 12/30/11 Therefore, the 2012 City Tax Bills have been delayed However, 2nd half school taxes 2011-2012 are still due no later then 1/31/12 without penalty -from the Office of the Comptroller
