The 2021 Winter After School Youth Employment Application is now available for download. The deadline for application submission is January 29, 2021. Submission of an application does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment in the program. Employment is very competitive.
The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau will begin accepting applications for the Fall After school Youth Employment Training Program on September 28 – October 2, 2020.

It’s that time again – CAMP TIME! The 2020 Safe Haven Application is available for immediate download. This year’s program will be at Columbus Elementary. You have until June 26 to return your completed application with money order payment.
The 2020 Summer Youth Employment and Training Program application is now available. As of today, the application will ONLY be available online. With the online application, you will have the following options:
STEP 1 – DOWNLOAD APPLICATION Complete the application digitally. Save to your computer.
STEP 2 – Take pictures of the required documents.
STEP 3 -Submit the completed application and attach pictures of the required information with your application via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
· You may also mail the applications to the MVYB. We are located at: City of Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, City Hall- One Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon, NY 10550
· We will arrange for you to have a phone interview with Mount Vernon Youth Bureau staff member.
Applications will be available on the website until Friday, May 30th, 2020. This will be the last day to submit an application for consideration. Applications will not be accepted in person, as the building is ONLY accessible for essential services.
Once the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau reopens to the public, applicants will have one week to return the required documents (listed on the application) for review. Applicants who do not return the required documentation will not be considered for employment.
