The Mount Vernon Recreation Department hosts "After The Bell," an after-school program for kids in grades K - 6. Scholars can do arts & crafts, play games, and participate in sports. The program meets weekdays from 3–6 pm at Holmes School and Pennington School. The program starts September 11th, 2023, and ends November 30th, 2023. The program fee is $450
