Current Taxi Rates and Fares
- $6.00 Flat Rate anywhere within Mount Vernon City Limits.
- $1.00 Discount for passengers over the age of 60
- $0.50 Discount for school aged children through 8th grade, to and from school only.
- $0.25 per minute of standing or waiting time at the direction of the passenger.
- $1.00 for four (4) or more pieces of luggage that will require the use of the truck.
- $25.00 Per hour for traveling place to place within City limits.
Gas Surcharges: Additional charge to the fares listed above
- $0.25 When lowest price of gas in Westchester is over $3.00 per gallon.
- $0.50 When lowest price of gas in Westchester is over $4.00 per gallon.
- $0.75 When lowest price of gas in Westchester is over $5.00 per gallon.
- $1.00 When lowest price of gas in Westchester is over $5.00 per gallon.
There shall be NO CHARGE for the following:
- No Charge: Children under 2 years when accompanied by an adult.
- No Charge: For suitcase, travel bag, shopping bag carried in hand.
- No Charge: For passenger’s grocery bags whether carried in hand or requiring utilization of taxi trunk.
- No Charge: Outside city limits by agreement with passenger
