Ms. Nichelle A. Johnson, a native of the Bronx, New York began working for the Corporation Counsel's office in July 2000.

Ms. Johnson attended C.W. Post College in Greenvale, Long Island. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management in 1988 and began working for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as an Analyst.

In 1990, Nichelle was admitted to Brooklyn Law School where she attended nights while continuing her career at the Federal Reserve Bank where she was awarded three President's Awards for outstanding service.

In Law School, Nichelle competed and became a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and went on to represent Brooklyn Law in a National Trial Competition. In 1993, she was honored by the New York State Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section, for being on one of the two winning teams to advance to the National finals, representing the Northeast Regional Law Schools in San Antonio Texas. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1994 with awards for outstanding trial skills and was admitted to practice law in 1995.
