PUBLIC NOTICE

CITY OF MOUNT VERNON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On April 11, 2006, at 7:00 P.M., the Mount Vernon City Council will hear public comment on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) prepared pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) for the proposed Alexander mixed framesuse development, proposed to be located at 120 East Sandford Boulevard, Mount Vernon. The Alexander proposal involves a nineteen (19) story high rise with 199 condominium units and 9,010 square feet of ground floor retail space. 257 off-street parking spaces will be provided in a two-level, below grade parking structure.

The Public Hearing will take place in Council Chambers at City Hall, One Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon. Written comments on the DEIS prepared for the Alexander proposal will be accepted by the City Council until April 21,2006.

Copies of the DEIS are available for public review at the Office of the Clerk of the City of Mount Vernon and the Public Library located at 28 South First Avenue, Mount Vernon, New York.
