Office for the Aging

ageThe Office for the Aging was established in December 1976 under the Office of the Mayor and mandated to implement, develop, administer programs and services, and personal needs of Mount Vernon's senior population (60+). Funded through Westchester County/New York State Office for the Aging under Title III of the Older Americans Act and local funding sources.

Referral services and community outreach are performed in the following areas:
