City of Mount Vernon Real Estate Committee
2010 Meeting Schedule
The City’s Real Estate Committee will hold its regular public meetings on the last Friday of
each month, except as noted below.
Meetings will be held in the Memorial Room on the Second Floor of City Hall, starting at 9:00
a.m.
Dates for the 2010 Calendar Year Meetings are:

February 26
March 26
April 30
May 28
June 25
July 30
August 27
September 24
October 29
November 24 (Wednesday)
December 23 (Thursday)
The Mount Vernon Real Estate Committee is in charge of negotiations for the purchase, listing,
advertising and marketing of city-owned properties not needed for public use. The Committee shall
recommend to the City Council the sale of surplus real property owned and or acquired by the city
not needed for municipal use and what buildings if any, on such property should, be in the interest
of public health, safety and public good be demolished. (Source: Mount VernonCity Charter).
