Servicing over one hundred ninety-five (195) miles of sewer lines, thirty-two hundred (3,200) catch-basins and three thousand (3,000) manholes keeps the Bureau of Sewers busy.

Bureau employee's work year round building manholes and sewer basins, and removing obstructions from blocked up sewers. In the winter snow is removed from manholes and catch basins.
