- He was appointed as a Police Officer on July 26, 1975.
- Assigned to the Detective Division, April 2, 1984.
- Promoted to Sergeant on January 13, 1989 as a Street Patrol Supervisor.
- Promoted to Lieutenant on September 10, 1994 as a Squad Commander.
- Assigned to Detective Division as Executive Officer, January 1999. During this assignment he was tasked with and successfully completed the New York State Re-Accreditation process of this Department.
- Promoted to Captain on December 23, 1999.

- Assigned as Commanding Officer, Support Services Division, March, 2000.
- He is currently assigned to the Chief’s Office.

- He graduated from the FBI National Academy, Quantico, VA, 2004.
- He is a member of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester Pipes and Drums.
- He is married with five children. His three sons are all sworn Police Officers His eldest Daughter is a Magnum Cum Laude graduate of Iona College in New Rochelle with a Major in Communications and is now working for a media company in Poughkeepsie, NY. His youngest daughter is an honors student with an Associate Degree from Dutchess Community College. She plans to attend a four-year college.
