MVHS Homecoming Week

Most adults can remember the fun they had during their own homecoming week. Mount Vernon High School is making plans to have a great time this year for the 2014 Homecoming Week that will show not only spirit for the team but the community as well.

While the week has some fun things happening each day for students to remember, on Saturday, October 18, a motorcade is set to ride through the city right before the big Ossining High School game at our home field. Its the chance for the entire community to get behind our Knights. Game halftime will include a special recognition of Mount Vernon Firefighter and former Football Knight Rodney Mack. Firefighter Mack, a 2004 MVHS graduate, was quarterback and Most Valuable Player of the football team. He died in July of brain cancer.

Show your support for MVHS Football Knights and every other Knight team by joining the motorcade or by coming out and cheering our players on – either in the streets or at the game.
