Draft Parcel Based Zoning Map now available online
The Department of Planning and Community Development in collaboration with the Department of Buildings have created a Draft Parcel-Based Zoning Map for public viewing. The current Zoning Map is being updated to conform (where possible) to the tax parcel base map of the City. The update to the Zoning Map is still ongoing; therefore, the following map is to be considered a preliminary draft, and not legally binding.

City Council Special Meeting Notice
Please be advised that a special meeting of the Mount Vernon
City Council will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at
10:30 AM. in the City Council Chambers. The purpose of the
meeting is to enact legislation to allow the Department
of Recreation to Co-Sponsor “Water Safety Day” with the
YMCA and the USA Swimming Foundation and other such
business as may be presented.
